Earning Extra Income the Fun Way!

A couple of weeks ago we went to our Shaklee global conference in Nashville, Tennessee and boy was it great.  Our group was well represented as we had over 20 people in attendance.

One member of our group, our daughter, Elisabeth, from Beauty Blondie, was even chosen as a winner of the healthy competition.  Not only did she loose 40 pounds on Shaklee’s 180 Weight Management Program she is living a healthier life.

One of the ways we save money is by looking for sales on food and making meals with what we have in the house. One of the things I like to do is when I go to the grocery store is to check if they sell meat ends. That is the ends of the meat they sell in the deli section. There are several smaller markets that I know of that sell the meat ends for much cheaper than the regular price. Unfortunately none of these stores are close by. So when I am able to stop at the market, I will usually check to see if they have any meat ends.

If you have been following us through all of our tips to get out of debt you will see how much you could be saving, and adding all of these savings together to really make a huge difference in paying off your credit cards, medical bills or other debts you may have.

We have always lived very frugal and have been able to stay out of debt just about our whole lives. One of the things that helps us stay out of debt are our shopping habits. Our food expense with 12 people living in the house is huge.  We use the tips below so we don’t waste food.

We are back! We were on a vacation, which was awesome, I will post about it later. Sorry about being behind on our money saving tips. Our intent was to have post scheduled to go out, but that obviously didn’t happen. We know a lot of you are enjoying our tips to get out of debt, so we will continue with our them.

We love to have purified water and don’t trust the water coming out of the faucet, (We have well water with a water softener) but buying bottled water is not the answer for various reasons (mostly for your wallet).

We have found that you could have quality family fun and not have to spend anything or very minimal. If you are use to spending a lot on family activities, and change your activities to FREE ones, you will be able to save that much more. Remember to put the savings towards one of your debts.

Over the years we have owned several vehicles. We have four of them right now and six drivers (12 people living in our house) and with all the work and sport schedules it is sometimes difficult arranging the car schedules, but it is better than buying another car for right now. Well, our 25 year old son has a car for his two jobs and our 23 year old daughter has one for her 2 jobs, hubby has a car for work, and we have the family tuckster (We call this our BUS!) It is sometimes a struggle arranging the car schedules but it is better than buying another car for right now.
