Finally, I was able to take some pictures. It is really hard to get every one home and cooperative. Well, not everyone was home and not everyone was cooperative. So this is what we got, not the best pictures. The children ask every year why we can’t take our pictures during the summer when their skin is tan from being outside for hours a day. (I agree, and say we are going to take pictures during the summer, and we never do) You see, I usually take pictures around Christmas to give both our parents and so I have at lease one decent individual picture of each of the children, each year.
Here we are, the Parents of a Dozen. (Number 12 is due on March 10th, 2011) We have been married for 27 years, love our children, and are very excited about our new addition.
Unfortunately, my husband lost his job last year after 25 years due to out-sourcing. So now, together
with my in-laws, we are renovating houses while my husband is searching for a new job. We have personally owned and lived in 4 homes and truly love fixing and up-dating them! We have a joy for this adventure and we are appreciating this opportunity and making this a family event where we can spend time together and learn new things. The kids have been helping out after school occasionally and we feel like we are growing as a family as an outcome. Aside from this, homeschooling, cooking, cleaning, laundry and everything else, we are Shaklee Distributors. I fell in love with Shaklee about 12 years ago when I tried their non-toxic cleaning products. Currently, I am helping other families make the choice to get healthier and enjoy a non-toxic home. My husband has a life long passion for sports and naturally wants to help athletes supplement with the safest products on the market along with training. We will be posting about our journey and hope you will follow along!
A lot of you may know our oldest and her family, from Creating a House of Grace. They have three beautiful children.
This is our next oldest. You may know his wife and family from White House, Black Shutters. They have two beautiful children.
This is our third, who just graduated college this December, with a Math Major. He was a four year starter on his college baseball team. He will be giving personal baseball lessons at a local sports facility and he plans on being a high school math teacher and baseball coach.
This is our fourth, who is a cosmetologist and works at a local solon. You may know her as Bargain Blondie.
Our fifth is a Junior in high school, played on the High School baseball, and flag football team this past year. He really likes to help out with projects at our house and the investment house.
Number six is a sophomore and enjoys playing on the High School baseball team. He does not like working on any project.
Number seven is in eighth grade and is a great with all the little ones. She is such a sweetie.
Number eight is in the fifth grade, definitely a girly girl and loves everything pink, purple and sparkly, She also wants to be able to do everything her older sisters do.
Nine is in the fourth grade and is on a traveling baseball team this year.
Number ten is in the first grade and also wants to help out with every project, at least for a short time.
Number eleven, who will be four shortly, can not wait for number twelve.
Number twelve is due March 10th.

What a beautiful family! I'm the oldest of five but my best friend growing up was #10 of 11 kids. I loved their family! I thought it was so cool that Sarah's younger brother was younger than three of his nephews! Big families rock!
