Our Thanksgiving Day!

Join us on Facebook now!

We are definitely behind on posting this, but better late than never. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and we have a lot to be thankful for. Most importantly we have a wonderful family and we are thankful for everyone of our children, our parents and our grandchildren.

We had most of our family together this past Thanksgiving and we had a wonderful day.

We set up our food and drinks in the garage. This year the weather was nice so we didn’t need to heat it. You could read how to use epoxy paint to finish a garage floor here, and how we organize and use our garage here.

This year we were fortunate enough to find a 26 pound turkey.

Our turkey was browned and cooked to perfection.

Using the garage is nice to use when we are serving for a large crowd.

This is how we serve all of our food. We set up tables, put tablecloths on them, put a few fall decorations out, and then put all the food and beverages out. We keep it out in the garage which keeps the kitchen nice and clean.

We set up a table for all of the beverages.

This is our favorite Taffy Apple Salad.

This year we did not set up tables for everyone to eat at. Everyone filled their plates and then found a place to sit. Some ate in the kitchen.

Some in the family room.

Some ate in the den and others in the living room.

The apple and pumpkin pies are our Thanksgiving desserts of choice.
