If you don’t eat them fresh out of the oven, then heat them up for a short time and they will be as if they were just baked. Serve plain or with mustard. Oh, so good!!!

Easy Homemade Soft Pretzels

1 package yeast
1 1/2 cups warm water
1 teaspoon salt
1 Tablespoon sugar

Dissolve the yeast in the water and then add the salt and sugar.
Mix, add the flour, knead until smooth,
add additional flour until the dough is not sticky.
Cut the dough into 16 pieces,
roll into ropes,
twist into the desired shape,
place on a greased cookie sheet.
Brush the pretzels with beaten egg,
mist with water and
sprinkle with coarse salt,
bake immediately. ( at 425 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes, until golden brown.)
