Make your own Popsicles

When it is hot outside the kids love to have popsicles. I never wanted to give them to my children until we started making our own. I don’t like all the bad stuff that are in store bought popsicles.  I use the Shaklee Performance, which is a hydrating drink, so it is great for when the kids are out in the heat. Even if they are playing in water they will still get dehydrated if they are not drinking enough water.

The performance is a powder that is mixed with water. There are two difference flavors, orange and lemon lime. Some of our children like the orange better and some like the lemon lime better. For the popsicles we use almost twice the amount of powder that the directions called for.  We used these popsicle makers, it is so easy to make, just stir and pour.
