Recently we took our three younger boys to the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago. It was a discount day. For us it is a free day because we are residents of Illinois. It does not include some of the exhibits, but we spent a couple of hours there and saw plenty. If you go on one of their discount days,
make sure you plan to stand in line. When we went the temperatures were well below freezing and we had to wait in this line, for an hour and we thought we went early.
A view of the City!
Looking at some fish.
We saw all kinds of fish. It was on the dark side in most of the aquarium and I didn’t get that many good pics.

Here we are!
Here I am with my young men.
When we were leaving, the line was three times as long. I was so glad we went early. Look, it wraps all the way around!
Another view of the city.

After we went to the Shedd Aquarium, we took our boys to one of the famous Chicago Pizzerias “Uno”. This pizza is such a treat and is very filling. I only had one and half pieces and was full. If you ever go to Chicago you need to check out this place. Our boys said it was the best pizza they ever had. I think they had more fun here than at the Shedd Aquarium. Although by the time we got there and got the pizza they were really hungry.
I love the old look of the building. It was established in 1943.
We had a great time with our boys and it was nice to go into the city. We live about an hour and half from down town, and we don’t like all the traffic so we don’t go very often, although the traffic was very light the day we went.
If you ever get to Chicago you will have many places to visit and many restaurants to choose from.
