Gyros with Ground Beef

This is a recipe that is very easy to make and everyone in our family likes it. If you like Gyros, you will like this. This is a must try! The texture is different because ground beef is used instead of the lamb, but the flavor is delicious.

Meat: (brown, add seasonings and simmer on low for 10 minutes)
1 pound Ground Beef
1 Tablespoon Oregano
1 Tablespoon Mint Flakes
2 Cloves Garlic chopped or crushed
Sea Salt to taste (I use at least 1 teaspoon of Celtic Sea Salt)
Pepper to taste
Sauce: (Mix all together)

1 Cup Plain Yogurt
1 Cup Sour Cream
1 Cucumber (peeled and chopped)

1 Clove Garlic chopped or crushed

Place a spoon full of the meat on a warm pita, add sauce, and top with onion and tomatoes.
